We recently completed a TPO roof waterproofing project in Auckland, replacing an aging membrane system on a residential flat roof. The existing roof had multiple leak points causing water damage to the interior.
The project involved full removal of the old membrane, substrate repair, and installation of a new TPO membrane system with heat-welded seams for complete waterproof protection. TPO waterproofing — also known as thermoplastic membrane roofing — is one of the most durable flat roof systems available in New Zealand.

Installation Process
The TPO membrane installation followed a systematic process to ensure a fully waterproof and durable flat roof system.
Removed existing failed membrane and cleared debris from roof surface
Inspected and repaired plywood substrate and timber framing
Installed new TPO membrane across the full roof area
Heat-welded all seams and laps for seamless waterproof joints
Detailed all upstands, penetrations and edge terminations
Installed new drainage outlets and overflow provisions
Final quality inspection and leak test
